Fertility

I first began seeing Christa for acupuncture in September of 2008. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant, we had seen a fertility doctor, been on medications, done many, many treatments, but nothing was working. I decided to give my body a break from all the medical intervention. I also knew I needed to treat the issue from the inside, to get to the root cause of why I wasn’t getting pregnant. The acupuncture was amazing. After every treatment I felt refreshed and relaxed. The benefits didn’t just last the day of the treatment; I could feel my body working optimally. And guess what? I became pregnant that very cycle I started the acupuncture. I really don’t think that after 18 months of not conceiving, it was a coincidence.
Christa was so wonderful. At every treatment she knew exactly what my body needed and customized her treatment accordingly. She also gave me some very helpful ideas on how to increase balance in my body and to release stagnations, which is a cornerstone in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was because of Christa’s knowledge and wisdom that my body was finally able to work the way it was supposed to. I continued acupuncture treatments and they helped to stave off the nausea and the aches and pains of pregnancy. I really got the sense that this is Christa’s calling. She is a natural and I am so grateful to have met her and been blessed by her healing hands!
