Covid-19 Important Updates

Our clinic will re-open for direct patient care on Monday March 15th.

As it has always been, the safety and security of our patients and staff remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken enhanced sanitary measures developed in consultation with The Department of Health, The Canadian Physiotherapy Association and College of Massage therapy. Our teams are receiving ongoing briefings and have updated operating protocols.

Due to the recent restrictions imposed by Dr. Fitzgerald surrounding the current Covid-19 situation, our office is closed for direct patient care. February 11, 2021 Update

In these uncertain times, we wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Avalon Laser Health to support our patients and staff members. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety.

As it has always been, the safety and security of our patients and staff remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken enhanced sanitary measures developed in consultation with The Department of Health, The Canadian Physiotherapy Association and College of Massage therapy. Our teams are receiving ongoing briefings and have updated operating protocols.

We continue to do everything we can to help minimize the potential spread of COVID-19 through:

  • Individual COVID-Screening before entry is allowed;
  • Staggered Appointment Times, minimizing client crossover;
  • Sanitation Stations throughout our Clinic and Treatment Areas;
  • Private Treatment Rooms strict 1-on-1 therapist/patient interactions;
  • Sanitation Protocols for Treatment Rooms and Equipment after each session;
  • Strict PPE Requirements for our therapists and patients;
  • Ample Clinic Space, minimizing ANY client crossover;
  • On-Line Booking and Payment, limiting exposure;
  • Tele-Health Virtual Platform, whenever needed

We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas and clinic rooms and have continued the use of medical-grade disinfectant.

If you are ill and must visit our clinic, please consult with us directly prior to your scheduled appointment.
